USANA Associate and undefeated boxer Timothy "Desert Storm" Bradley captured the WBC Junior Welterweight World Championship on Saturday, May 10, in Nottingham, England, with a 12-round decision over Great Britain’s Junior Witter.

Bradley, who trains in Palm Springs, California, used his speed and strong overhand right to knock Witter to the canvas in the sixth round and relied on his superior stamina en route to a split decision victory and boxing’s most coveted belt.

"It was the best I’ve ever felt in my whole career," said Bradley, who improved to 22-0 with the 12-round victory over the reigning champion. "I wasn’t even breathing hard after 12 rounds. I was so geared, so focused. I’d been taking my USANA products all week and I felt so energized. USANA definitely was one of the reasons why I won this fight."

In starting my career as a fresh electrical engineering graduate, I sought work which fed my desire to be creative and to solve problems, as well as to secure financial security via a job with a good salary and solid benefits. Joyce has been a nurse for over 30 years and Harry is a real estate investor. We used to own a home health agency and had 75 employees. If I could only share one thing with you about me it would be that I have an inborn passion to increase the quality of anyone whose life I touch. My husband Greg and I have always owned and operated our own businesses. Over the years we have worked very hard and been blessed to have been able to support our family. For thirty years I have been asking doctors "why do I hurt all over" and for nearly as long I have been told there is no particular reason, it must be in your head, get a life. Therefore I have researched and tried to make the necessary changes that I believed would help me. I have often said, "If wanting to and trying to have better health is all it took, I would be the poster child for good health." Obviously, it is not enough.

Fifteen years ago I believed that God told me He was going to help me restore my health. This seemed like an impossibility, because I knew how hard I had tried to have good health - and failed. Over the 15 years I have seen improvements (tried a lot of supplements, natural remedies, etc. not sensing God’s permission to turn to fad diets and/or surgeries) I believe that God was preparing me for just such a day as this. Toward the end of 2006, I (feeling discouraged because things were not changing as I had envisioned) sensed God telling me that "this is the year".

Even with this thought in the back of my mind I began researching Usana for the purpose of telling my friend a polite and informed, "no thank you - I am already on a good supplement and don't want to change). The more I researched the more I realized "I have to try this!" I signed up as an associate because I figured if God was truly going to complete my miracle, maybe it will spill over onto my friends and family.

Today I have more energy and I can actually walk for over an hour, five days a week, and still function. In 2008, as a massage therapy student looking towards graduation, I really thought about what I wanted for my future. I knew I didn't want to sit at a desk 8 hours a day and have someone else tell me when I can and can't take time off. I also knew that I wanted to practice massage therapy because I love it, not because I need to for the money. I knew that at 25 years old there were so many things I wanted to experience and so many places in the world I wanted to see. I've felt proud that as a young adult I have been able to live and support myself living in San Diego, but I don't want to continue to just 'get by'.

Not knowing what the solution was for me, I kept my heart and mind open as I focused on reaching the graduation that I had worked hard for nearly two years to reach. Then without really realizing it I started listening to the words of one of my instructors who really sparked my curiosity. He had been a holistic health practitioner and a teacher for years, but he continued to do it because he enjoyed it, not because he had to. What was his secret? I wanted to know how he got there. So as I listened with an open mind, I saw the USANA opportunity and saw the potential.
